Students get one extra day per absence to make up their work for full credit. If at any time a student has a failing grade on an exam, they have the chance to to make up the test for a higher grade (students cannot earn higher than a 79 on retests). It is up to the student to arrange a date to make up the exam. No student can retake a formal assessment without coming to at least one tutoring session first.

ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING Hints & expectationsAsynchronous learning will be assigned every day. To make sure you do not fall behind this school year, use the hints below to make sure your work is completed promptly!
1. Put your notes beside your Chromebook and reread notes from synchronous learning for similar examples. 2. Re-watch synchronous learning sessions to figure out what you are missing from the day's lesson. 3. Text a friend. Showing all your work is helpful to mastering the content and receiving full credit on tests so I'm not worried about cheating. I do expect you to learn the material! 4. Email, Remind, of chat with me if you are still stuck. CHEATING POLICYWe have a NO TOLERANCE policy for cheating, which includes talking during tests or quizzes. If you violate the policy, you will receive an automatic grade of zero (0). If you are caught cheating on a test, you may retake the test but the highest possible score you can potentially receive is a 79. You will also receive a referral and your parent/guardian will be contacted immediately.
